Boat trip along the river. Lena with rock paintings (2 days)

Home » Summer Tours » Boat trip along the river. Lena with rock paintings (2 days)

Enjoy a relaxing break on the great Lena River, go fishing, savor camp-cooked meals, and socialize in a pleasant company. Perfectly suited for corporate outings and group trips (including school excursions).

The route runs along the Lena River. This is the easiest water trip in terms of difficulty and the shortest in duration and distance (17 km). Suitable for beginners and those who prefer a short getaway.

A two‑day tour option is available (overnight stay on an island on the Lena River). In June, you can gather wild onions on the islands.

The Lena River is the largest Russian river whose basin lies entirely within the country. It is the world’s largest river that flows entirely through the permafrost zone. It freezes in the reverse order of its thaw — from downstream to upstream.

✨ What makes it special?

  • 🎨 5,000‑year‑old rock paintings — touch ancient depictions of elk and mysterious symbols left on the cliffs of the Lena River
  • ⛺ Camping overnight and songs by the fire — starry sky, crackling firewood, guitar, and true team spirit on the banks of a great river
  • 🛶 Catamaran rafting along the Elanskie cliffs — wind in your face, water spray, and panoramic views of majestic crags from the water
  • 🦇 Caves and rocky grottoes of Bolshaya Keteme — a hiking foray into hidden corners accessible only by river
  • 🔄 Two routes to choose from — “Bolshaya Keteme – Elanka” or “Ulakhan An – Bulgunnyakhtakh” to match any pace and group preference
  • 👥 Tour for teams of 10+ people — ideal team building, family gathering, or class trip into the wild nature of Yakutia
