❄️ A peaceful winter getaway just an hour from Yakutsk

This is not a commercial fishing run, but a quiet recreational fishing trip in the picturesque surroundings of the city. You will drive along an ice road laid right on the frozen channel of the Lena River, stop at one of the proven spots, and spend a day with a fishing rod over a hole in the ice. The main thing here is the process itself, the unhurried wait for a bite, and the chance to spend time in nature with friends or family.

The main catch is small and medium-sized fish: dace, perch. Sometimes pike is caught, less often — burbot. We do not guarantee record trophies, but we will do everything to make the fishing comfortable even in frosty weather.

✨ What is special?

🛣️ Driving on the ice of a great river. You will travel along a winter road directly on the frozen Lena — a chance to see one of the largest rivers in the world from an unusual angle and feel the scale of the Yakutian winter.
🔥 Warmth in the middle of the frost. We fish in an insulated tent with a stove or in a compact mobile hut. Even in severe cold, a bearable temperature is maintained inside, and hot tea is always at hand.
🧊 Not for the catch, but for the atmosphere. This is recreational fishing without chasing size. The main catch is small dace and perch, but here the bite and the waiting are valued more than the weight of the prey.
🎣 A truly local experience. Rigged fishing rods, manual hole drilling, the silence of the winter Lena — everything is organized just as the locals fish themselves, without staged shows.
🌬️ The freedom to switch. In windless weather, you can leave the tent, drill additional holes, and try fishing in the open air — a complete change of impressions in one day.

🌄Sample daily schedule

17:00–18:00 Return to Yakutsk.

09:00–10:00 Departure from the city, drive along the winter road, short briefing and preparation of the ice holes.

10:00–16:30 Ice fishing. Fishing in a warm tent, or, if desired, in the open air in windless weather (additional holes are drilled on request).

Lunch — on your own (bring with you). We provide a gas burner and a kettle so that you can boil hot tea or have a snack during a break.

🎒 Conditions and equipment

⛺ Warm shelter: a spacious insulated tent with a stove or a compact mobile hut, where you can shelter from the wind and fish in warmth.
🪑 Fishing rods and chairs: each participant is provided with a rigged ice-fishing rod and a folding chair. We recommend taking an additional thermally insulating seat pad (“podpopnik”) — it will be noticeably warmer.
🧥 Clothing: dress according to the weather, as for a long walk in severe frost. Pay special attention to warm footwear and mittens.

⚠️ What is important to know

🐟 The fishing format is recreational. Biting depends on the season, weather, and fish activity. The most frequent catch is dace and perch of small size, which is completely normal for these places.
❄️ A genuine winter experience. The route goes along an ice road; we operate in a mode familiar to local fishermen. This is not a show, but a peaceful day in nature with all its unhurried joys.
🛡️ Safety. The trip is carried out in a prepared vehicle along official winter roads; the ice meets the safety requirements for vehicle travel.

Time marks in the program are APPROXIMATE and depend on weather and other factors.
The program may be adjusted depending on the date and time of tourists’ arrival, and the tour operator reserves the right to change at its discretion the objects of visit (museums and cultural sites), places of overnight stays, and to insignificantly adjust the travel schedule.
Copying, distribution, or other use of the tour program without the author’s written permission is not allowed.

💳 Booking and payment conditions:

The tour is considered booked upon payment of a deposit of 30% of the tour cost by bank transfer to the account of Chuchuna LLC on the basis of the contract.
The remaining payment by cashless settlement no later than 28 calendar days before the start of the tour, unless other deadlines or other forms of payment are additionally agreed.
